National AG Bio-tech Laboratories is the realization of the dream of technocrat entrepreneurs to build a biotechnology company by leveraging their scientific temper and environmental consciousness to deliver technologically proven and qualitatively superior products and services in the areas of Plant Tissue Culture, cloning in plants  and Organic Farming.

Established in 1992 in as a Private Limited Company which turned Public in 1995

Located in Hyderabad, India which is fast emerging as a biotechnology hub for R&D and production

Rich and diversified experience over the last 18 years in producing tissue culture plants and organic farming

Extensive and sophisticated infrastructure facilities including modern Plant Biotechnology Units, Green Houses, Satellite Hardening Centers, Bio-manure / Bio-fertilizers / Bio-control agents Production Unit, Botanicals extraction unit,, and a state-of-the-art R&D and Training Centre

The scientists in the R & D have made breakthroughs in selection of Plus trees with desirable characters and evolved the In-House Tissue culture Technology to produce
genetically superior clones in economically important timber trees viz., Tectona grandis, Gmelina arborea, Albizia odorotisiana, Swetania mahagony, Anthocephalus
cadamba, Paulownia and oil-yielding bio-fuel plants, viz., Azardirachata indica, Simarouba glouca, Jatropha curcas, etc. The other achievements include:
Innovation through rigorous Research & Development has been a passion with which National AG Bio-tech has taken shape and the same spirit continues to this day, which
is shared by the team of scientists at National AG Bio-tech.
• Developing the in vitro technology in maintaining the male sterility (MS) lines in the Chilli and Tagetes Hybrid parent lines.,
• Developing the Tissue culture production technology for important Medicinal and Spices crops.
• Developing in-House software for to maintain all the production parameters and clonal identity in tissue culture process.
• Developing the field production technology for tissue culture plants mainly for Banana and Teak for higher productivity.
Training
In an effort to keep its human resources abreast with latest developments in biotechnology, National AG Bio-tech has developed regular training modules for its
scientists apart from participating in research programs with various Universities as part of the Academia-Industry interaction program.
The laboratory gives regular training to NGOs, farmers' organizations and officers in financial Institutes and government departments involving itself in popularizing
the biotech inputs. National AG Bio-tech Laboratory is recognized by many Universities for carrying research for the projects of students at post graduate and PhD
levels in the field of Plant Biotechnology.

About Red Sandal Wood
About Red Sandal Wood Red Sanders or Red Sandalwood is a species of Pterocarpus native to India. It is a hight-demanding small tree growing to 9m tall with a trunk 150 –175 cm diameter. It is fast-growing when young, reaching 6m tall in three years even on degraded soils. It is not frost tolerant. The leaves are alternate, 3–9 cm long, trifoliate with three leaflets. The flowers are produced in short racemes. The fruit is a pod 6–9 cm long containing one or two seeds. The wood has been historically valued in China who introduced classical
